Franz Wohlfahrt – Fifty Easy Melodic Studies – Violin – Sharp – Carl Fischer

Like most of Wohlfahrt’s etudes, the 50 Easy Melodic Studies, Op. 74, are intended to teach and reinforce basic concepts of violin playing.

Exercises deal with string crossing, bow-strokes and bow distribution, tone, intonation, and general dexterity of the left hand, among other things.

Book 2 contains studies 26 through 50, exploring the third position.
